Finally!

As of a few hours ago I ordered my gaming rig!

OK, for anyone who knows about PCs, this is what's in it:
  • nForce 5 Neo-F Motherboard, 1GB FSB
  • AMD 3800+ Dual-Core CPU with 1MB L2 cache
  • 2 x 512MB DDR2 SDRAM 6400
  • GeForce 7600GT 256MB graphics card
  • Seagate Barracude 250GB SATA hard drive
That's basically what's important on a gaming rig. It's a monster of a PC, within limits. If it was up to me I would have double the RAM and a 4200+ CPU, but that would be a R10 000 PC... This is about R8000...

The install sequence will be as follows:
  1. Windows, obviously.
  2. Drivers like motherboard, graphics card, codecs etc.
  3. Notepad++
  4. Need for Speed Carbon
  5. TrackMania Sunrise Extreme
  6. Oblivion
  7. Fear
  8. Flatout 2
  9. Crash Day
  10. Half-Life 2 Episode 1 through 3
Basically all the games I couldn't play because my PC wouldn't run it.
I've also made sure that for about R500 I can have this PC upgraded to run Spore, the actual reason I'm buying this PC. A game that will revolutionise our thinking of games.
